This is a scan of an Editorial by Pastor Woolsey submitted to the local newspaper about smut mail that was in my Grandmother’s scrapbook. This was during the time he was at Walnut Street Baptist Church, but the article is un-dated. This was probably published in the Waterloo Daily Courier during the 1950’s.

This is a scan of a flyer for Easter Services at Walnut Street Baptist Church that was in my Grandmother’s scrapbook. The topic of the sermon, “Jesus Christ, Dead or Alive?”

Announcement in the Syracuse Herald Journal that Baptist Bible Seminary purchased a Roman Catholic Seminary in Clark’s Summit, PA. This will move the school from Johnson City, NY to Pennsylvania. Dr. Woolsey was President of the seminary at this time.

Short Article in The Progress, Clearfield Phillipsburg, PA Jun 27, 1968. “Rochester, N. Y. – The worldwide ecumenical movement received a blow Wednesday from a Pennsylvania clergyman who said it was part of Satan’s plan to form a ‘super church’ to worship the devil. The Rev. G. Arthur Woolsey, president of the Baptist Bible Seminary in Clark’s Summit, PA, told 2,000 delegates to the RegularĀ Baptists’ 37th annual convention the plan would fail, as the doom of the ‘super church’ was predicted in the Bible. The General Association of Regular Baptists claim 200,000 members throughout the United States.”
